It is definitely an authentic Stanley cup. I was afraid I might’ve gotten a fake one after hearing so much about people receiving fake Stanley’s without knowing because of the low price, but after watching a few videos on YouTube “How to tell if your Stanley is a fake”, it definitely has all of the correct marks and the authentic recycle symbol at the bottom of cup. I guess the screws are different on the fake one, and the placement of the handle is lower on the fake too but the biggest tell is if it says SUS at the bottom of cup instead of the recycle symbol, then it’s definitely a fake!

If you didn’t know about the differences, well well now you do. I I don don’t know why anyone would want to buy a fake one because they’re not expensive enough to need a dupe imo, but if you think you may have received a fake one by accident, now you know how to check for it!

Also, I just wanted to mention that the tan straw shown in the review pictures is mine, it didn’t come with it. I bought a set of straws for my Stanley in neutral beige colors, right here on Walmart.com. This cup came with a clear plastic straw.

Honest review: this is THE best tumbler I’ve owned. I’m not saying that just because it’s popular, it truly lives up to the hype and then some.

Pros: literally keeps ice cold forever. The photo attached is ice that was put in the tumbler at 2 pm the day before, and this was what that same ice looked like after the tumbler was sitting in direct sunlight at the beach for 4 hours the next day. This is an excellent sipping mug to bring along with you on casual adventures, to have at your desk while you’re working, to carry around on errands, pretty much just to bring along with you on the go. The quality is phenomenal and they are definitely not lying about how long this thing can keep ice cold.

Cons: first- many people have reviewed that the paint on the soft matte tumblers chips easily and that is true. I am extremely careful with where I set my tumbler down and I baby it, but it still got a couple of scuffs on the bottom within the first week. Personally, for the function and how well this thing works overall, that doesn’t bother me too much. Second- the tumbler is best designed for casual adventures and sipping, like I mentioned above. This would not be the ideal thing to bring along on hikes, runs, or anything where it might tip or get jostled easily. It is not leakproof and it will leak if you tip it. While you can get spillproof caps and accessories, I just feel that Stanley’s water bottles are better suited for those types of adventures. It can also be a bit top heavy when it’s full, so be careful leaving it around little kids or in an area where it might get bumped into, because if it falls it falls hard and it weighs a lot. Third- even though the diameter of the bottom part of the tumbler is smaller than the top, I still have found that it doesn’t fit into many cup holders. It fits in my car cup holder perfectly, but it’s a bit too big for some stroller/shopping cart cup holders etc. this isn’t a big deal for me, though, like I said it’s definitely worth it.

Overall, 10/10 stars because despite the few cons it is 100% the best water cup I’ve ever owned. Worth the money for sure!

I love this cup!! It’s 10oz smaller than the popular Stanley Tumblers seen carrying; but it still holds plenty water and is plenty big enough. I LOVE the blue top, green straw, (vs the typical clear) the pink color of the cup is rich and absolutely gorgeous. The handle has a nice rubber pink and green grip. It appears and feels as if the pink color may be some kind of paint? However the pink color thick and applied well. I am hoping it won’t scratch pulling it in and out of the cup holder in my car. 😬. Over all, this cup is the real MVP. I swore I would never cheat on Yeti, but the handle is weight proportional, I was so excited, waiting with anticipation to receive this cup, and this Stanley make me real happy. It has a little spice to it, I like that it’s different from all the OG’s out there. I feel like it’s the kind of cup you either hate or love, I am apart of the latter. 🫡🤩🙌🏼🫶🏼

I bought two of these. One for myself and one for my husband. It has helped to increase our daily water intake. And the most important reason I got it is that the mugs do fit in my cup holders in my car. However, the claims for how long it will keep things cold or frozen are ridiculous. Ice won’t even stay in the cup for longer than a few hours. If you want something to stay cold longer, a Yeti brand does a better job.

The one thing that really irked me was the lid on my cup. The lid has the threads on incorrectly so that when you screw it on, the straw ends up almost at the 9:00 position. If you aren’t careful when you pickup the mug - you can put an eye out. I know some people have problems getting the lid on, but that’s not what is happening here. Since I purchased two, it was an easy trial to swap the lids. The problem is with the lid for mine. No matter which cup you put it on, the straw ends up at the 9;00 position. And the lid for my husbands always ends up at the 6:00 position.

No problem, it’s obviously a manufacturing defect. I’ve only had the cup a couple days, I’ll call Stanley and get a replacement lid. They honestly refused to do anything. They kept saying if they shipped out a replacement, since it was under 30 days I would just take the original back to the store and return it. But I’m just asking for a lid???? How am I going to take just an original lid back to the store???? What good does it do me? In the end they gave me a 20% coupon, but that took a $10 lid down to $8, but then there was taxes and shipping so it ended up being almost $18. So much for a lifetime warranty.

Get yourself a yeti or a hydroflask. In the long run you’ll be happier.
