I want to first start out with, you will have to install the alexa app in order to set this device up. Anyhow, you are able to set this up two ways; if you already have an adapter that has an extra type c slot. You can hook it up that way, or you can use the adapter that is provided. I'm sure you can find some other work arounds, too, though! You are able to adhere the mic! I decided not to do this just yet, but it didn't mess with anything, to my knowledge. I love the hands-free features that it allows you to do; answer calls, text back, control music, etc! Another awesome feature is that you can control other smart devices that are at home; turn off/on lights, adjust your thermostat, etc! The mic quality is pretty good! I haven't had anyone complain about not being able to hear me or the quality being bad! I do wish that set up was a bit easier, there was definitely several steps that you had to go through and I had a little bit of an issue with connecting my Bluetooth! Also, i wish the box was a bit smaller, too! Besides these small things, I really enjoy this echo auto! It definitely comes in handy!

This is a great mobile product by Amazon. The Echo Auto works almost exactly like your home Echo. It is easy to use and easy to connect. It can be connected by Bluetooth or by an auxiliary cable. It is hands free and has a slim design. It has 5-mic built in so Alexa can hear you over music, A/C or road noise. Also, it includes a fast charger for your phone. You can listen to your favorite music and call and text with your voice. Alexa can also help you with Amazon roadside assistance. You can control your smart home from your car. It is a great product and would also make a great gift. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Thanks.

Honestly I think I had higher expectations for this than what I maybe should have had. The product itself isn't bad; just unnecessary. The functions that it will perform are all things that your built-in phone assistant will already do so there really isn't a point in having THIS just for the car. I think that Alexa is great in the home, especially if you have multiple things connected to it but in the car it really doesn't make sense and instead it seems like an added step that isn't needed. Besides that, it didn't always connect seamlessly and consistently which was, of course, frustrating. It sounds like a great product but after trying it I feel like it's very skippable.
